WAR.GOV/UFO files – What do they disclose to us?
What I thought was one of the most significant moments in the entire “UFO / UAP Disclosure Movement”, has, unsurprisingly, been the biggest let-down and waste of valuable time during my weekend… Time that I will not get back.
After spending at least 8-10 hours this weekend going over all these files released by the United States Government, as it pertains to the UFO files on the www.war.gov/ufo page, here is my current conclusion based on this first file dump. (My opinion is subject to change in the future with more files already promised to be uploaded in the coming weeks…but I’m not going to hold my breath).
Nothing new and nothing truly of value.
How can I say this? We have documents now declassified talking about strange lights and objects seen by the Apollo crews on the Moon Missions. We have letters from esteemed people to J. Edger Hoover of the FBI from decades ago talking about sightings of objects that don’t conform to any known craft. Best of all, we got Videos! Recent videos from the US Government, Department of War. Yeah, baby!! This is what we have been waiting for… right?
- So, the information from the Moon Missions is not new to anyone who has been researching this topic. It was widely known for decades, that astronauts see strange lights and talk about seeing objects in the distance, after accounting for anything that could be from their own craft. – Great, confirmation of what we already know. Next…
- The letters to the FBI are not too dissimilar to the cases that come into MUFON every single day, since 1969. Whilst I have not read each and every individual letter, I have read enough to ascertain they don’t contain anything monumental in nature. But they DO confirm ‘something’ extraordinary has been happening for decades. – More confirmation of what we already know. Next…
- The videos that have been released lack all the data necessary to perform an actual investigation; assuming the videos themselves have not been altered in any way. – Just because we see something on the screen, does not mean it is a hard craft that is physical in nature. These “lights” and dots can be literally anything at all. – What type of camera are we looking through, and what spectrum does said camera pick up upon? Are these objects visible to the human eye, or only in IR / FLIR or other technology that we are not allowed to know about. – And without the date, time and location, (none of which should be “classified”), there is nothing to do but take a guess at whatever you want it to be. – One video looks like a Reaper Drone and some afterburners of another aircraft.
So, let me save you the waste of time in going through the files, unless you know absolutely nothing about this topic. If you’re completely new to the UFO / UAP topic, then absolutely have at it. But if you have been researching this for any significant amount of time you will be highly disappointed.
It has been said that “cooler” (presumably more astonishing) files are to be put forward in the near future. We shall see…
